Cloudy Images

This morning as I walked
on my way to catch the train
The sky was pretty cloudy
Though luckily no rain

The clouds caught my attention
All the white against the blue
My mind began playing tricks
With what I began to view

I was quite surprised
They could easily represent
The clouds that I was watching
Looked like all our continents

The patches of the sky
In the areas between
That was all our oceans
And made a beautiful scene

So now I'm walking blindly
With my head towards the sky
And I started to smile
At what it would imply

The clouds were slowly moving
Besides the morning sun
Forming a huge cumulus cloud
And all becoming one

And no there was no thunder
Or clash with lightning strikes
The clouds all gently formed
And together would all unite

Then around its perimeter
With the sky an ocean blue
In that moment made me wish that
Our world was like this too
