Manifest

by Zetta Roth-Yale   Oct 5, 2020

You walked in an my heart walked away from me a tenderness I'd forgotten long ago awakened within your breath my strength walked out the door in your fleeting wake I never ment to let you in. A surprise I welcomed until you turned away gone cold without reason. I can never be the one you seen a mask of protection enveloped me. I wish I could show you the me of today not the mess I used to be. Heart numb in shock from the apperant loss. My soul grows cold with each moment of abandon. Savagely cold a broken heart blooms violet tears flow without remorse. Though I stay true to the course I dream of warmth once more. Come ignite a flame within the spirit long ice. To joyously love without contest. Loyalty unquestioned for faithfulness is next to godliness. I digress and offer fullillment
