Nautilus

I lost my buoyance
So let me go where my eyes won’t moisten
Let the friendly fish feed on my flesh
My blood is black and poison

The fishes died soon after...
They’re no longer swimming in haste
Joining me in the slowness of decay
And we continue to lay waste

Then the undertow swept me away
And this dizzying death is slow to slay

I’ve fallen quite far
I can no longer see the suns rays
Patiently waiting to be somethings prey

Blackness finally surrounds me
My flesh no longer wraps me

I’ve sunken here...
In the abyss
And found my self lost with troves of treasure
But I can’t spend it here, there’s no more pleasure
