You were a great man
You were many things
To many people
But now your gone

The sun seems to shine
Less than before
The light you brought
Has burnt out

Two years has past
It still feels like yesterday
You left a hole in our lives

Maybe someday we wont cry
At every memory that comes
But that day seems so far
I miss you dad

    A lovely, heartfelt tribute to your dad. There's a small typo on line 10, with the word, still.
    I liked how you expressed sadness by suggesting the sun seems to shine less now. A loss like this certainly does tarnish everything. All I know is in time when you look up, you may feel the warmth on your face and feel good, just like when your dad used to smile at you.
