2020! What a year!

One, two, three to 366 days,
2020 was a up's and down's drama play.
A bit of laughter's mixed with pains,
And some loses and few gains.
Things were a little bit fair, and same time not fair,
2020! What a year!

A year meant for a turnaround
Brought About a massive turnaround,
Death was no longer a news but the numbers of death's
Face mask everywhere, one can't take an easy breath.
The good, the bad and the dare
2020! What a year!

A promising year was turned into a political war's,
While the lame leads abruptly without law's.
Killings by Convid 19 and killings by gun's
The wickedness of man becomes a thing of fun.
A year when the rich and the poor both lives in fear
2020! What a year!

Loved one's was gone
Some things were left undone
In a year second to none
But today, another begun.
It's a new day and a new year
2021! We are here.

    I love the lines

    Death was no longer a news but the number of deaths

    Alluding to Covid-19's death toll.
    I like the positivity in this. It's an optimistic view and ,sometimes, a different angle to look at things always brings hope for the year ahead.
    I think that the question mark after ' what a year' should be changed to an exclamation, as it's more of a statement than a question, although I might be wrong. But apart from that, I love the grammar and hope in this, as it brings an exciting perspective to look forward to the year ahead.
