Sadness with a smile

Black clouds
night sky
it was so quick
it flew by

i was so scared
and so lost
i started to cry
and then i saw
my daddy die.

tornado of death
came unexpected

we ran for shelter
under the house
we kept so quiet
quiet...
as a mouse

the lock on the hinge shakes
as the doors fly off
i give a loud cry
and i saw my daddy die

i grasp the handle on the ground
with four screws to save me
i wish it would have rather taken me
than my dear old daddy

sweat on my palms
makes the grip slip
i fly straight out doing flips

as my mom gives a cry
i reach to grab her
i slip away and die...

I\'m thrown against the ground
with skin so cold
i see my daddy and that light
we were separated
and brought together that night.
by a tornador that came unexpected
