My Summer Dream

by NightFlyer   Feb 10, 2021

Trails melt into forests grey
Midnight gloom on dreamy plains
Moonlight shines to guide my way
To a place where shadows reign.

Call me now, you birches thin
In the hazy moonlight's gleam
Music swirling in the wind
The birdsong of my summer dream.

A beautifully mystical poem. Sounds like quite a place.

Thanks, Sherry. Glad you like my short poem. This was from the period of my life when I was much more creatively active. Not nightlife in the sense of nightclubs and discos (lol), but rather an inner world of mystic realms and landscapes that I would imagine or sometimes experience in dreams. Thats what this poem is about as well as others I've written. Have a great day :)
