Broken Marriage

by Mrs. Adams   Feb 10, 2021

I wish I could go back
To when our love was still fresh
Because now after 10 years
I'm questioning
Is there even love still here?
You used to treat me like a Queen
Made me feel loved and cared for
The good morning/ goodnight
Phone calls and texts
Made me feel blessed
Date nights we had
No longer exists
What's making this love
Slowly die
Is it me I'm wondering
Haven't I've always
Cater to you
Treated you like a King
Put you on a pedestal
Fulfilled your evey wish and dream
Put my feelings aside constantly
No matter how much it hurt me
Ignore all the lies and broken promises
Loved you with everything I had in me
Now I'm wondering
If we are even worth fixing

I really get this. The opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference. There's no magic wand... both parties have to put in the work, it can't all come from you. Hopefully he'll realise that soon before you become indifferent too and he loses you. :-) x

This is so sad. A romantic love's journey is to live happily ever after. Sadly, in this world, we strive for perfection and in that unreachable goal, we lose sight of the attainable goal, that of true love.
    Good luck.

I 100% agree with you... Marriage I do understand is tough it take alot of work and fight on both ends. I don't want to give up... But we both have to want it in order for it to work
