U see im born a dutch family technically the year 2003
Gone to an English school no idea what my next step will be
And i'm trapped in this teenage identity crisis
To understand this great abyss
And on this amazing world where and when my next turn is
But I know if I stay true to my name
Meaning to spread love in the form of joy
to never let myself or others feel ashamed,
to have no expectations for the stepping stones to fall under my feet
and instead make those scary leaps,
to encourage others when they feel hesitation,
remember that growing is not a one way street,
you are not defined by a successful occupation or how rich you are with certain information,
only you can see yourself as the ultimate destination,
I think as long as I put Maite, love, in the driver's seat of this journey
