UNSUNG SONNET #1

by Mohamed Mubeen   Apr 12, 2021

Stumbled spontaneously at the first sight,
Fell for you instantly when I met you, the other night.
With your sharp eyes, you took a peek on me,
That moment I caught you realized you're a bee!
A queen bee to my honeycomb named heart,
You paint these hexagons with your love while I paint art,
Never gonna lie to you that you're the most beautiful,
Woman I've ever seen, though I have said that to handful --
Of ladies I used to know. No language nor any
Words help me to describe how I feel or what I feel. Many
Glances I throw at you, you will understand.
If not, my kisses on your forehead will convey clearly and,
You'll never ever forget any of it for the next seventy years,
Just help me forget my past, in return, never will I, let you shed tears.
