Hmm... so, when does a secret stops being a secret?
Is it when the secret is revealed to whomever the secret is meant to be kept from? Or is it whenever everyone knows?

I mean, let’s supposed just for supposing.

I have a secret and this secret is about Brenda per se. I go and tell Mr. Darcy the secret and I tell Mr. Darcy not to tell Brenda... is it still a secret even though Mr, Darcy knows about it? Then Mr. Darcy goes and tells Ben the secret. Is it still a secret even though Mr. Darcy and Ben knows about it? Now the secret is told to everyone in PnQ except to Brenda... is it still a secret?

and then someone tells the secret to Brenda, that she is a great poet, so now is no longer a secret, right?

Brenda, i feel for you. Another's secret can often be a burden. I know it helps to share such a honesty, but there is a price isn't there! This person is lucky to have your trust and companionship. This burden will be carried to your grave and you will learn to except it along with the others. ((hugs)) xx

Thank you Michael, I'm still processing this whole thing, hence the poem...had to get it out and learn to work with this knowledge.

Yes, lovely to be trusted BUT, the burden isn't always one you would really want to carry is it?

No definitely not...but I will. It's too important not to.

I most liked your comparison to the house of cards and ticking time bomb, I think that’s where you hit the nail on the head. I hope writing this gave you some small relief.
