I hadn't heard the word before, but when I saw the title and read the first line I guessed what it meant; Usually, when you see 'phile' at the end of a word it refers to a person and considering the poem was about rain, it was easy to say! I looked it up afterwards, though:). I would definitely class myself as a pluviophile, lol.
I loved the opening line. The phrase 'overcast dawn' I could read tirelessly for a long time. 'Obscured' was also nicely used.
I could go through every line, picking out well used wording. I really enjoy it when someone writes a poem, then goes over it, thinking of better adjectives or adverbs to replace as much as possible. It's so imaginitive and you've done it really beautifully.
I like how you've occasionally used rhymes and alliteration, and how you've centered it.
I feel as if the narrator of this has been through some sort of upset, and is using the rain as a cover or protection. There are little hints at this throughout, most obviously the last line.
    Anyway, really beautiful!

Thank you so much for taking your time to read this. It meant so much to me, as it has been a long time that I was able to finish a poem (slipping to a slump, and bombarded by responsibilities lol).

Anyway, have a lovely day ahead. :)

The word 'petrichor' is a word i always remember, especially when reading a pleasing piece like this and the wonderful smell that the parched ground offers when it finally rains.

There is something wonderfully hypnotic in this write, the sound of the rain, the windows seeming to melt away and a writing devise to connect thoughts to page/screen. Thank you for sharing - i would find it hard to imagine anyone not admitting to being a 'Pluviophile'

    Take care
