Summer Lovin’

by 31   Oct 22, 2021

Bathing in the alluring grace
Of the radiant summer sun
Dazzled by their divine beauty
Two lovers become one

Beneath the bow of Cupid
Loves great gift is shared
Among flowers of purple and red
Souls entwined and bared

In the copse they tremble
In the wake of passion’s great release
Safe in each other’s arms
Until the light kiss of tremors cease

The golden Adam wraps his arms
Around his beautiful darling Eve
And in this heavenly glade whispers
Wish they’d never have to leave

His natural beauty captivates me
As does her magnificent glamour
Then out of the bushes I step
In my pig mask with my hammer
