Sweet Home

by BOB GALLO   Dec 8, 2021

You don't need to wear makeups.
Your beauty is always there
at the fingertip of my beholding,
like a sonata
surfing through the white keys of your smiles,
and the black ones in your eyes.
The eyes
shining through your heart,
your deeds, your music,

You do not need to wear makeups,
your beauty is from within.

Your beauty is home.
And
I have never been homeless,
even without knowing you,
for your beauty
exist in me.

Your beauty is me finding,
recapitulating,
itself again.
