Tender Love

by yogi73   Jan 18, 2022

Tender love and our tender years
how they have passed. I sift to find
where once I had been rooted.
The grand promise, the golden sun lay broken.
Tender love has stolen the beauty
that was once upon my heart.
Where is the flame that seldom dies?
Woe the darkness has stolen the light.
Tender love that binds the heart
Gentle and persistent overcoming the grief
that love endures. Slowly pulling
a heavy heart from the dark.
How tender love has wounded me
how it has healed.
Tender love, give me a another dream.
