The Demon Whisperer

by The Fallen Angel   Feb 20, 2022

I hear voices in my head,
rattling and cracking
open my brain,
oozing the essence
of my wisdom.
My thoughts frozen,
my mind still,
my head spinning,
my heart breaking;
The voices so sharp,
screaming in my head,
pushing me,
fighting my sanity.
Slowly I gave in,
to these whispers,
whimpering in my head.
They echoed over
the years, through
the course of time.
Then one fine day,
they cease to exist,
I force open my eyes,
but there’s no light,
yet I feel, the coldness
In my soul,
Like a frosty bite.
The demons I hid,
crawled out of my mind,
took a nasty bite,
and sucked out the life,
scratching me,
leaving me
blemished and broken.
