I am a single father.
and this is my son.

He doesn’t look all like me.
He looks half like his mother,
which raising him,
I recognize all the time.

how stranger she is to me now
after all the hardship we have gone through
in account of one another,
I am going to love that part of her, in him,

for this is the part
that I loved, made love to,
and gave my heart to, once,
and now in this blossom,
shall love forever,
for he is my son
and I love him entirely.

So, it is true,
love is eternal after all,
soaring even
after the kite is gone.
