Morphine

by LuCastle77   Feb 27, 2022

Darkness with no memory
fog of rising feelings
whispered words vaguely
sound without origins
in this sleepy silence
they arouse emotions.
some low murmurs rise
as friends light our passions

Show me how I can lie
Teach me how I can leave
you have got the morphine might
please, make me wanna sleep

the taste of the forbidden
it should not be so loved
it should be well hidden
by temptations we are caught
That lights up the existence
along this twisted road
from sin to appearance
my eyes wander about closed

You will be my lost vice,
forbidden fruit to taste
to be deleted like
another bad mistake
till a reason to invite
the vice to play again
on my body so unquiet
your mouth can draw the game

Show me how I can leave
Teach me how I can lie
There’s no more time to sleep
‘cause you make me wanna fly
