When you say bye

by Periwinkle   May 5, 2022

The clouds gave way
To great spirit and joy
She revelled in the glory
A new chapter in her story.

He was gentle and kind
A rare man to find
Soothing to her mind
Her age, backward did wind.

But aren't good byes inevitable
The days spent, so unforgettable
The excitement palpable
With what name can she label.
