Triton

by DarkNDangerous   Sep 27, 2022

Oh the triton calls for me,
On the edge of the seas,
You are paradise I agree,
As I bow to my knees.

I thought sirens were threatening,
But your songs are deafening,
With beauty and questioning,
Leaving my body trembling.

Beckon me with your song,
Will I survive for very long?
None of this could be wrong,
With you is where I belong.

Wrap me up with your vision,
Cut into my heart with incision,
No one could stop this collision,
Loving you is my decision.

Everything else feels like static,
White noise for the dramatic,
Making everything so problematic,
But with you I’m ecstatic.

Pull me into a final kiss,
Sing me into this abyss,
Some place where I won’t be missed,
To be with you is my bliss.
