I am a simple 28 year old girl with a complicated past, but don't we all have that? I have had this account since I was in middle school, my username used to be AloneNHurt. From time to time since then I will write, growing stronger and more eloquent thanks to everyone on here overtime. I am a fan of big words and immense vocabulary. Not because it's "the norm" for poets, but because I have grown into writing poems to convey a message. I don't just want you to read it. I want you to feel it, see it, hear it, be in the moment, because that is how it was when I wrote it. Poets that have inspired me had me do the same, and in the end, it made me feel better. That is my goal for readers. I write in the moment of tragedy, when emotions consume me, always have. Never been good at conveying happiness. Not that I do not experience it, just those moments I don't need to write about to feel a release. Those dark days however...
