The Story of a Snowdrop

by Eileennn Ng   Nov 16, 2022

I stand there,
never move,
and never change.

The flowers bloomed,
and withered away.
But I, remained there, remained unchanged.

The wind, passing by my side.
Without any hesitation.
Left me only chillness.

I,
still there,
no changes.
From when the carols sang, till the Cupid came.

I started to raise my head up as I saw you.
Saw you conquering the clouds,
and running towards me.
No hesitation, but only me.

You bring me warmth, along with snugness.
Making me willing to change, and willing move

You are the sunshine in the winter.
You are the Sun, of my entire life.
