I love you

I try and talk to you
but i get no response.
i look at you
but you wont look at me.
i smile for you,
hoping you will smile back,
but your face stays blank.
i squeeze your hand,
but you stay stiff.
i hug you,
but you don\'t hug back.
i tell you i care about you,
but you still say nothing.
my eyes swell
and tears run down my cheeks.
you used to be the one to wipe the tears away,
and tell me pretty girls don\'t cry.
but my tears still lay upon my face.
i tell you i miss you
and need you
but again....
nothing.
i don\'t want to leave you...
not until you answer me.
my dad tries to pull me away
but i wont let go.
i continue to tell you i love you
and plead for a response.
but the only voice i hear is the one of my dad telling me....
shes gone sweetie!
no!
its not true!
its all a lie i cry as my dad pulls me back to me seat
and they close her casket.
I Love You Grandma!!!!

    Oh my god! I'm speechless..I'm sorry to hear that! I feel so ad for you i wish i could say i feel the pain but i have not yet lost someone close to me..my grandma's been in the hospital a couple times and i'm always so scared..But shes in a much better place now sweetie! She waiting for you! And she will never be gone shes always in your heart! Nice Job on the poem!
