Loves Endless Wave - Sonnet

Our love reminds me of the sea and shore
Where the water and sand will first attract
The moons influence keeps pulling for more
And then allowing these two to react

A potion is mixed and drawn back to sea
Where it is swirled riding high with each wave
Time slowly will settle all the debris
Reacting just like our love first behaved

The foundations will form with this routine
Instinctively sand falls gently below
Although the waves crest is all that is seen
Because the building blocks don't always show

Love's so much more than a wave at high crest
And owes it all to the time we invest
