Grateful For His Grace

by Catchy   Mar 6, 2024

I’ve wandered blindly for so long.
Aimlessly living my dreadful days.
Consumed by the world, I went.
Unaware of the truth, lost in a maze.

My mouth speaks thoughtless words.
My mind is so dumb I don’t even know.
To not know what true love is
What a terrible way to live and grow.

Love is not hard and it shouldn’t be.
Love is patient, generous and kind.
It is in all forms careful and selfless.
Thoughtful and pure in mind.

I wish I knew this since I was child.
And loved easily like breathing.
I wish I have always understood Jesus.
I could have been a better being.

How could a sinner like me live with pride?
When all I have is His mercy and grace?
I am just a fool and a poor beggar.
Undeserving of the blessings in all ways.

Jesus saved us with His love.
That is why we need to fix our eyes on Him.
This world is rotten and so are we.
But He forgives each time we sin.
