White Picket Fence

by Gothic Angel   Jul 17, 2004

A place
a home
built . . .
from love
from hopes
and
from dreams
a home …
with happiest atmosphere
that touched me deep inside

A place
where a happy family lives
and when you enter their haven
you could hear the children's laughter
and their footsteps
stampeding down
the longest stairs
even if the place has
no stairs
at all.

It's a small house
that has the simplest of decors
and the lowest fence
that any person
could go through
in one big leap
but to the family
who lives here
it is the most dangerous gate
in entering
their castle.
