Every day can be a blessing,
Though some day they can feel cursed,
Everyday situations can get better,
Though some days they feel can feel worse,
Everyday we can feel the shame,
Though some days were fueled with pride,
Everyday we can feel a step closer,
To our true selves that dwell deep inside,
Everyday we can feel fulfilment,
Though on some days we feel no gain,
Everyday can bring the realisation,
That no two of these days will ever be the same,
Everyday we can feel the gratitude,
For the lessons good and bad they teach,
Everyday we can evolve just a little more,
Though some days this feels out of reach,
Everyday we can feel love or anger,
Everyday we can feel compassion or defeat,
But this means we’re getting stronger and learning,
To follow our hearts rather than our feet
