All is not lost

by Shodan   Nov 13, 2025

The vultures they do circle, the eagles soar high above
Gulls full of skullduggery, crows on their tiptoes.
Gently persuasive, life can be dangerous
His absence is senseless
His silence a death sentence
Minutes hours days and years
Now misery and uncertainty
All that matters is the undeniable connection we share.
Etched in my memory is the depth of our emotions.
It pains me to consider what we have lost
But all is not lost our love is still there
Still lingers beneath the surface
Don't let go of something so precious
Mark please know my feelings are still strong,
a love that is bold,
you make everything feel right.
