The Braw and bonnie days

by Ki-Eisha Rose   Mar 25, 2026

The wind can howl across the glen,
And the haar may fret the sea,
But there’s no a storm in a’ the world
Can shake the bield you gie to me.
I’ve watched the heather bloom and fade,
And the seasons turn their wheel,
But ne'er I kent a truer thing
Than the way your hand I feel.
It’s no just in the laughter,
Or the braw and bonnie days,
But the way you walk beside me
Through the dark and misty ways.
So here’s my tryst, my darlin’,
As the stars begin to shine:
My heart is yours, and yours alone,
As lang as you are mine
