Miles to the moon

by Neutrino   May 4, 2026

I saw the moon through the treeline tonight
It looked a little cold, a little bit too white
I'm sitting here with this old guitar
My mind overflowing with how you are.

And It's a long road back to you
Across the rivers and the morning dew
The miles are many, but the heart is true
I'm just a restless spirit passing through.

The radio is playing some faded song
I've been walking in my mind for way too long
I see your face in every passing light
Wish you were sleeping in my arms tonight.

And It's a long road back to you
Across the rivers and the morning dew
The miles are many, but the heart is true
I'm just a restless spirit passing through.

Missing you, Missing you
Like the desert misses the rain.
So many miles to you,
Until we kiss under the moon again.
