Dead and Alive: Real Love.

Love doesn’t protect pride and ego.
It protects our core. Our souls... our connections.
The way we feel emotionally safe with someone we claim to love.
It’s like dying and living at the same time.
Because you’d shatter yourself to keep them safe.
You’d try to understand them even as they’re hurting you.
It’s considering them in absolute devastation,
and improving yourself to keep them.
It’s going weeks without communication
and randomly feeling their soul cry out for you.
It’s sharing songs that speak their name at 3AM, in the dark.
It doesn’t beg.
It doesn’t falter.
It doesn’t replace.
It’s missing them at 3PM when life is chaos.
It does not romanticize silence — it surrenders to it.
Distance, money, time, or outside energy
cannot set it in chains.
That's love.
