With my earphones pressed right into my ears
Trying to hear you breathing as you lay there.
Missing you endlessly, completely
Then you sigh and my senses waken.
For that brief moment until it goes quiet again.
It seems like there are universes between us
But also that we are the same soul
Full of emptiness and longing to touch you
To be hand in hand and once again whole.

I'd give so much to be Laying right there
Listening to you breathing with your head on my chest
Not having to miss you, because I hold you
When you sigh it will be from my touch
