One more prayer

It feels like a lifetime ago
I asked the angels above
I prayed and begged
To send me my true love.

I'm not sure what i did
What did I do right?
Because the angels listened
They listened to my sleepless nights.

You came into my life
You made my life complete
Having you here with me
I mustve done something right.

After all these years
You still make my heart feel new
And sometimes I still wonder
What I ever did to deserve you.

I don't need the angels anymore
I don't need to ask them why
Because they answered me so long ago
When they brought you into my life.

If I had one more prayer
One thing to ask from above
I'd ask for nothing for myself
Just another lifetime with your love.
