Solar Constellation

by Wishy   Jul 19, 2004

All of a sudden stars appear,

as I look into your eyes.

All of the darkness seems to disappear,

and everything that is black I see blue sky's.

I see a red sun slowly circling around me,

but it might just be a super nova.

The light from the sun seems to shine endlessly,

but as I approach closer it was only a nebula.

As I traced my way back through the constellation,

I took a detour to see heaven's land,

I think back on our many conversations,

as I sail through the vase space of white sand.

I took a ride on the wing horse Pegasus,

then got off and swam in the ocean of stars with Cancer.

I caught a fish and named it Pisces,

and I kept him in the Big Dipper.

I held out a red cape and got by Taurus the bull but it made him madder,

I fought Leo the Lion and got many scars,

but he calmed down after I found his son Leo Minor.

I played on Lyra the harp and we dance along the night stars.

I also saw a set of twins named Gemini,

who let me ride on Monoceros the Unicorn to the sun.

I stole Orion's Belt and made him cry,

and then I cried as I got stung by Scorpius the scorpion.

I saw the words of the prophets written on an asteroid wall,

as I stare through the Hubble telescope.

A million decillion stardust I saw,

which gave the big bang theory a new hope.

The open fields of space echos the sound of silence.

I have discovered the lost cosmos that we all miss.

Hug me until I finish counting all the stars with a glance,

I might get miscounted on purpose.

I touched down on every planetary,

I have traveled a million light years away,

Pluto is not really that lonely,

but it is cold as the light skips its days.

As I saw the astro belt from a far,

I rested on a Saturn's ring,

and I saw a shooting star.

I skipped Uranus and Neptune because it did not have anything.

I took a bath in the meteor shower.

I race along a speeding comet through the milky way.

I gave Jupiter a pretty flower,

and I was off to see Mars far away.

Then I landed on the moon,

I watched the Earth rise in the morning,

I can't return because it would be too soon.

I would watch the lunar eclipse set in the evening.

I fell in love with the planet Venus,

as I saw Mercury rise.

I have never seen anything more beautiful then this,

but all of that went away when you blinked your eyes.
