sadness
The world is slowly turning gray since the day you past away. I visit your grave with a red rose. Cold wind swirls around my clothes. I tell you how much I miss you and carry on a conversation with sensation. As the distant sun sets around seven, I turn away from the gates of heaven. All of the leaves on the trees have fallen, and once again my heart is stolen. Walking back on the narrow path, I journey back, to the time when I was young. Remembering the sounds that the songbird sung. The rolling winds causing the grass to behave like waves. Cyrstals hanging under bright lite caves. Warm summer nights with fireflies as lights. Nights with hundreds of wishing stars. Counting the passing cars. The first exhilarating drop of a rollercoaster. The first splash of the waves upon my shoulders. Camping in the mountains beside the fire. The midnight train passes along carrying along hearts so desire. Walking out into the wooden pier. As twilight comes the moon appears. Long calm noon throughout the months of June. Ballons being released into the sky. I remember the day I said good bye. Dark clouds are coming in gray. I miss you since the day you past away. Skies are no longer blue, colors are fadding and Winter is approaching, but I still love you. |
