Broken Time

A love so strong
Not even time had a place.
Then distance intervened
And tears came with a steady pace.
On a traveling road
A gift was on its way.
But it suddenly vanished
On that one tragic day.
Another soul set free
Having words to tell.
Upon sadness
I must bid thee farewell.
Painful cries go out to the loss of more than a friend.
In one last breathe these words?
Twill meet again.
