Untitled

by Polly   Jul 21, 2004

Tears don't fall from my pale eyes
Emotion doesn't show.
For you all know how I must feel,
The lowest of the low.

I sicken you, I can see why
It bothers me no more.
Dog's bark as I crip by,
My stomach hits the floor.

I keep away from those who laugh
I avoid the prying stares.
Sometimes I'll glance and look at you
As if anyone cares.

You wish I were gone, 'spose I do to
Maybe I should go
But my energy has long expired
My steps are just to slow.

And so I keep on walking
Past the 'people' and the slums.
For now, I'll bid you all farewell!
And take 'life' as it comes...
