Autograph

One day there’s this signature.
It doesn’t mean anything, it’s not worth much.
But then the fame steps in
And everyone wants a touch.
It’s just a piece of paper
Filled with someone’s name.
Why would anyone want it?
What’s the point it’s so lame?
But then the persons on TV
Or there albums in the store
And gradually as fame goes on
They sign the signature even more.
It’s weird, confusing
It really makes me laugh.
Why would anyone want
Some strangers autograph?
