Far Behind

I was left far behind,
with eyes full of tears,
I cried softly,
so no one could hear.

I found myself all alone,
thinking about you,
how you left me far behind,
and how your feelings were never true.

I finally realized I loved something that wasn't there,
I loved something that wasn't real,
i made it up,
It's just something I feel.

I gave you all that I had,
But I guess you were just blind,
because I wouldn't be here,
left far behind.
