Blessed

You all look at me and say
“Girl you've been blessed”
But you all can't see the inside
Of my unhappiness.

Do you know what it's like
To stay up all night
Wondering if your
Mom's going to be OK?

Do you know what it's like
To go to five funerals
In eight months time
And see your family members
Lying there all cold?

Do you know what it's like
To come home from school
To see you mom passed out on the floor
And when she wakes up
To see her go straight for another beer?

Now you all say that I've been blessed
But switch me lives
Just for one little day
And tell me what you think
Do you still think that I've been blessed?

    i can relate so much to this poem stuff like that has happened to me but u need to kno that it will get better it got better for me things will work out in the end if u ever need to tlk to me im here and thanx for the comment...
