She Thought

She thought he loved her
She thought he cared
But he wasn't really into her
His heart, he never shared.

He was too selfish
He didn't care about anyone else
Sure, he had crushes
But he still didn't care about anyone but himself

He mislead her
And fed her all these lines
But she ate them up
Why shouldn't she? He was just so fine..

She was blinded by his way with words
and the way he'd smile at her
It would give her weak knees
Her feelings were always astir

But, like I said, he just wasn't into it
He never thought it'd work out
So he never really tried
But she never really had a doubt

She liked him a lot
But her heart fell when she saw them
She thought, "They must just be friends,
What other excuse is there for her being with him?"

She started to get suspicious
And even a little lonely
It's not like her to get jealous
God, he's such a phoney.

Why would he do this to her?
Weren't they in love?
She had a thousand questions
That were going through her head above

Wasn't he hers?
Did she do something wrong?
All of the memories of them together started to blur
Was all of this her fault?

She could feel the tears coming
Streaming from her eyes like a waterfall
Her heart so bad
She seriously felt like kicking him in the balls

She'll get over him though
She's gonna stay strong
He wasn't worth her time
She wasn't the one who did something wrong.
