Home Lonely

by Heather N Lee   Jul 28, 2004

I tell my friends I can't go with them,
Because you may come to see me.
And I'm once again home lonely,
With no one to keep me company.

I wait for you incessantly,
Just to hear that you're sorry or got busy.
So once again I'm home lonely,
Wishing you were here to kiss me.

I stand outside to watch you pass,
Just so I can get one glance.
Home lonely again, babe.
Guess what; there goes your last chance.

I'm tired of making you a priority, when to you I'm just an option,
So we're through.
You'll just have to be home lonely,
Because now this girl is over you.

Next time you want to see me,
With my friends is where you'll find me.
I won't miss another night out with my girls,
Just because you lied to me.
