I Didn't Fall Too Hard

by rachyBBY   Jul 30, 2004

I told you I liked you
I told you I cared
You said you liked me too
But you were never really there

I thought you were worth it
Well, at first you were cool
But after awhile, you changed
I ended up being the fool

You told me I was your one and only
You told me I was the apple of your eye
But that apparently wasn't true
I found out otherwise

You had twenty other girls
That were always by your side
When I found this out,
Of course, I cried

After I found out,
I never looked at you the same
You told me, "Don't hate the player,
Hate the game."

Well, I hate both
And it's all because of you
I'm actually glad I didn't fall too hard
Like I usually do.
