The Loss

Ive never met a person,
Who wrote with such a flow,
I can say deep in my heart,
This poet was a pleasure to know.

He gave his true opinions,
He never shied away,
Head always show a helping hand,
If you had lost your way.

I know there's been accusations,
Of which some may believe,
But don't be too judgemental,
As this guy wore his heart on his sleeve.

Poems that he has written,
Have touched my very soul,
And without him on this site in future,
Ill always be aware of a hole.

I'm lost without a friend as a tutor,
A guy who thought of others not himself,
We cant turn away so much talent,
And leave his memory on a dusty old shelf.

If you haven't read a poem he has written,
Please take the time and you'll see,
That this man is the master of poems,
And forever my friend he will be.

    I'm sorry for your loss, this is a fine dedication to your friend.

    As far as advice in my comment, i felt that the flow of the poem was interupted by the irratic syllable count....almost as if you couldn't decide between free verse, or structured balanced work.

    The last line of the first stanza is a classic example..if you read it out loud...you should find that is doesn't quite flow right...because there are one to many syllables.

    Hey thats one cool poem, I don't really know Timothy... Im a bit new, but I do hope he comes back for he sounds like one awesome person to be friend with :)
