Look past the scars
Who do you see?
Do you see who you are
Or who you can't be?

I look into the mirror
And what do I see?
I see a hear full of tears
And someone who isn't me

Look into your own eyes
Tell me what you feel
Do you feel the wrath of lies
Or pain that won't seem to heal?

I look deep inside
And what do I feel?
Anger that won't subside
And hurt that is way too real

I look at you
And what do I see?
I don't see who
You just described to me

You look at me
And what do you feel?
Nothing, all you can do is see
Because my appearance conceals

I don't know you
You don't know me
But what do we do
