I'll Find A Way (Run Away)

by Bryce Ellner   Aug 9, 2004

I can't be who you want,
My morals forbid it.
I'm not the child you wanted,
And I'm sorry you can't live with it.

So I'm making it easier,
For you to carry on.
Because I know that you
havebeen waiting for this for so long.

By the time you read this
I'll be a long way away.
I decided to catch the midnight train
Since you don't want me to stay.

Don't try to stop me
It's time you let go.
And you know you'll just regret it
You have since long ago.

Tell Emmy I said goodbye
Because I didn't get the chance
Tell her that I'm sorry
That she never got that dance.

I'll make you proud one day,
I promise you that.
I'll be the best that I can
And I won't have to come back.

I'm serious when I say this,
But I'm sorry I couldn't stay
But we both know
That I'd only be in the way

Please don't follow,
I don't want to be found
Please don't cry,
I'll be safe and sound.

Don't start worrying now,
I'll get along.
Dont start caring now.
Because you've waited...just too long...
