Lost Angel

The first time I saw you my heart was renewed with life,
It felt like someone opened up a door and blinded me with heavens light.
You were an angel sent from above; I knew this in my mind,
I never thought that I would be with you and cherish you all the time.

Everyday that I spend with you, you make me feel complete,
It seems that we can go through life's problems and never miss a beat.
I remember our nights together, so wonderful and new,
Holding your hand so tight while making love to you.

You opened my eyes up even though I could see,
We shared moments together when we were both in need.
I would stay during the night and watch you sleep,
Believing what we had was eternal, for ours to keep.

Then one day you changed and what we had was no more,
It disappeared from the face of this earth without any remorse.
I promised, I will be true to you and never stray from your side,
Deep down you know this and still turned a blind eye.

The angel left my life just as fast as it came in,
I prayed to god many times about spending time with her again.
I worry about her all the time even as we are apart,
I pray asking god to return her safe without a scare or a mark.

I love you so much that only god understands,
I will do anything in my power to show you this first hand.
Please let me back in your life, so we can try again.
