Confusion

by Candice   Aug 11, 2004

Flowers seem to blossom in the twilight
Stars seem to shine during the day
Only more confusion stares at me
Misplaced I seem to find myself today

Oh can you help me
I seem to have lost myself along the way
Oh please help me
Collect my pieces and mend them so they stay

Colors seem so awkward when I see them
Blues are red and yellows are all grey
Circles have corners and triangles are oval
Confusion is taking over all the way

Birds are singing quietly to no one
Their songs echo loudly through the night
People fail to notice the melody
The day is dark and never to be bright

Words are spoken without understanding
Confusion finds a home among man
Its darkness covers all that are blinded
And I am in the dark once again.
