A letter to the enemies who cause my pain...

by Jamie   Aug 11, 2004

Dear Ana-mia,

Please, I beg you,
Leave me alone,
I know that you are hurting me,
Making my demand the look of bone.

Why do you always do this to me,
Emphasize every imperfection I display,
Make me want immaculately,
You make me feel this way.

Look at the models, you say,
That's who you want to be,
But your wrong, Ana,
I just want to be me.

It is you who makes my mind think backwards,
It is you who leads my finger down my throat,
It is you who turns my hunger into triumph,
It is you who got me into this boat.

The truth is Ana, I don't have control anymore,
You and the devil took that from me,
How do you do this to so many innocent girls,
More importantly, how could you do this to me.

You ate away at my body,
You devoured all of my life,
You took away all my self-love,
Turned my happiness into strife.

With all this realized, Ana,
There is something I want you to know,
I am ready to put up a fight,
Away from my mind; I want you to go,

Forever your Enemy,
Jamie
