Giving up...

by Jamie   Aug 13, 2004

She bleeds.
Can't take no more creeds.
Cries far too much.
Loosing her sense of touch.
Careful with each step.
Falling every day.
Loosing sight of God.
Starting to fade away.
Turing to her friends.
Her final hope in life.
Without them by her side.
She can't take anymore strife.
Helpless without anorexia.
But hopeless with her too.
She fees this pain is endless.
Nothing left to do.
Her heart is beating faster,
Palpitations the doctor explained,
It's from all the throwing up,
All the self-inflicted pain.
The room is getting colder,
Her breath she sees before her,
She feels so weak and tired,
No faith left in a cure.
This is who she is now,
It's all that she's become,
Her whole families betrayed her,
Even her so called mom.
She looks around her room.
Sees pills and a razor.
Then she looks a little harder.
And sees things that just amaze her.
Pictures of friends she loves.
Cards and letters too.
She knows she has to fight.
Just this once, she knew.
If only each time, was this time...
If only each day she was strong...
If only each day she thought harder,
and just didn't do wrong.
